Report Writer now supports team-based collaboration directly within report results. Users can make notations on detailed rows and tag colleagues for review and further discussion — keeping feedback and context right where the data is.
A powerful new approach to defining report criteria. Instead of specifying fully qualified account values with masks and wildcards, users can now define criteria using Dimension names and values — such as Cost Center, Line of Business, Region, or Natural Account. This makes report building more intuitive and aligned with the way your Chart of Accounts is structured.
A new optional generation level is now available. For child units, Row Detail displays amounts grouped by specific portions of GL accounts defined within the row definition — for example, by natural account — providing a deeper level of visibility into report output.
Report Results can now be archived to external storage, including network shares or Azure storage solutions. This moves historical results out of the main SQL database, supporting better performance and long-term storage management.
A new Web API enables external systems to perform full create, read, update, and delete operations on org structures, opening the door to integrations with ERP, HR, and other platforms.
Users can now export directly from the Reports, Organizations, Rows, and Columns landing pages in CSV, PDF, or Excel format — making it easier to work with your data outside of the application.
When enabled, Report Writer can now leverage a user’s existing Microsoft authentication context to bypass the login screen entirely, streamlining access for organizations using Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL).
In response to Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online retiring Basic Authentication, Report Writer now supports Modern Authentication for SMTP connections — ensuring uninterrupted email processing with a more secure connection method.
A targeted but impactful fix: pasting values into Org Maintenance now correctly populates dropdown list fields, reducing friction during data entry.
Generation and Distribution services now run under the Control Center, eliminating the need for independent service installations. This behind-the-scenes change delivers improved performance in Gen Now scenarios and simplifies administration.
This release also includes a range of general corrections and improvements across the application, continuing our commitment to stability, reliability, and a polished user experience.
